AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Holding a press conference the MGNREGA workers told media that amidst continuous protests, rallies with 5 points of demands, the workers are deprived of their basic rights in state.

At Agartala press club the employees under "Tripura REGA Karmachari Samannoy Samiti" said, "It's observed that the Tripura REGA Karmachari Samannay Samiti is struggling for years together to achieve 5 points of demands which related to the interest of the members of samiti including the toiling masses of the State of Tripura".

The members of the Samiti has decided to kick of a continuous work stop for full day for indefinite days from May-29.
