AGARTALA, May 19 (TIWN): A sudden rain hit Agartala City on Friday, but has downed the temperature to 30 degree Celsius.

Cloudy weather is expected to prevail for next 24 hours in the state. However, rain has also hit other subdivisions.

Normal life in the states capital came to a halt as torrential rains wreaked havoc in the city to disruption of traffic movement services that left thousands of commuters stranded.

A continuous light rain is still falling, along with thunders sometimes.
