AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): Finally Tripura CPI-M has given party statement, eventhough by 'mistake' on Triple Talak. While addressing at Melarmath Party Office on Monday, Tripura CPI-M Spokesperson Goutam Das said, "Today Narendra Modi is showering sympathy for Muslim Women, but he himself gave Triple Talak to his wife within a month of marriage, but never accepted back her in his life". Goutam Das had called the press conference at Melarmath Party Office to give his reaction on Amit Shah's statements during 2 day long visit in Tripura. Das stressed upon various points raised by Amit Shah including corruptions, 10,323 teachers scam, MGNREGA fund debacle & Tribal issues. For every points stressed by Amit Shah was reacted with logics and answers to justify CPI-M's good leadership in Tripura and in some cases Das also hit the Supreme Court alleging ruled by RSS for 10,323 teachers verdict. However, it was almost in the ending of the press conference, that Goutam Das attacked the Prime Minister of India for his Govt's stand about Triple Talak.

However, after this statement question raised whether any party spokesperson can attack another leaders at personal level or not.

It's worthy to mention here that National BJP President Amit Shah on Saturday said on Saturday at  Gitanjali guest house that Triple Talak is not fit for healthy society and it snatches the constitutional rights of a woman. Shah who visited Tripura for a 2 day long visit talked about various sensitive including Triple Talak. "It hurts the constitutional rights of women in Muslim society but the case is going on at SC which was filed by a woman & Govt gave stand on it. Let's wait for the SC verdict", said Shah to media here. 

However, in this regard Sitaram Yechury, CPI-M General Secretary said, "Modi's campaign against triple talaq is a communal campaign," Yechury questioned Modi's stance on 'triple talaq' while addressing a national seminar on the occasion of 150th year of publication of Karl Marx's book "Das Kapital" in Kochi.

Yechury even though talked in political angel but he signaled that there is no way to talk in support of Triple Talak. But when CPI-M National Secretary said this, here in Tripura CPI-M politburos have directly targeted PM Modi abusing him at his personal level.

Other parties as TMC, Congress are utter silent about the issue except BJP raised voice for women, which created also political blame games.

Voicing against Triple Talak is also for the sake of common constitutional rights across religion when India is claimed as a secular state. But CPI-M on Monday being secular in ideology supported Tripll\e Talak & finally shown that they are ready to attack the Prime Minister of India if necessary to preserve Triple Talak for Muslim vote banks.
