AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): The speech of BJP National President Amit Shah has really proven as atom bomb for Melarmath when only 8 months left for Tripura Assembly Election-2018. CPI-M spokesperson Goutam Das held an 1 hour long press conference in clarification of all the allegations brought by Amit Shah. Addressing the Press, Das said, "I congratulate the state for being familiar with BJP, which is ruling at centre. Amit Shah who came in Tripura for 2 days, held meeting rallies, press conference and talked so mean against us". "At Kumarghat Amit Shah said that Tripura's development is zero, here unemployment is 8 lakhs, tribals are deprived. But all are lies and in case of development under left front Era, development is huge. Tripura is first in source of income, literacy rate, connectivity, no-beggar, Fasal Bima etc in whole Northeast", said Das calling further Amit Shah a Gujrati friend of Modi. "How could he (Amit Sah) this, when Tripura is the best Northeast state?", said Das.

Das further criticized the BJP led central govt for cutting of funds, Go-Raksha move, MGNREGA fund debacle etc.

However, with the press meet one thing was clear that the speech of Amit Shah have turned heavy upon CPI-M. Goutam das also said, "BJP will not give 7th pay commission. They are just saying this to come in power".

It's worthy to mention here that Amit Shah at Kumarghat on Sunday said that all the states ruled by BJP have received 7th pay commission. 'I am surprised, when all states are enjoying 7th pay commission, Tripura Govt is not implementing it. Here people have no source of income and they think the govt job is the only option', said Shah.

‘When the whole nation is changing, then why not Tripura?’, said Amit Shah at Kumarghat.

Showing much confidence on his face, Shah said, 'I don't think, Tripura has any battle ground left for fighting as it's ruled by a corrupted Govt. Communist is generally known for goodness, but here the policy of communist has been reversed'.

With the visit of Amit Shah ends, CPI-M called this press conference to show the reaction against Amit Shah's speech at Kumarghat.
