After winning the election, the member of CPI(m) Kamalpur Divisional Committee- Anjan Das expressed that the people have voted in favour of the CPI(m) based on the party’s performance.
On the other hand, Kamalpur Block Congress President- Prashanta Sinha asserted that the ruling party in the state assembly usually found to exercise influence on the Panchayat elections. This election was no exception, he said. Besides, another reason of this disgraceful defeat is the Congress party is being divided to Trinamool Congress also, he added.
