Optical fibre cable cut at Agartala halts BSNL service since 2 days : customers suffering

AGARTALA, April 29 (TIWN): Amidst exclusive offers given by BSNL the customers are unable to utilize the offers due to ‘no network’ that suffering the customers heavily. Citing example of 100 % Govt company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited left paralyze in many part of Agartala beginning from Kaman Chowmuhani, allegedly the fibre cable was cut when water pipe line work was going on. Mainly Broadband 10 Mbps users are now cut from network fully.

On the other hand, nobody is picking up call since 3 days at Kaman Chowmuhani office as a group of staffs sat in strike demanding salary hike and other issues. All these have created much resentment among the Broadband users when the postpaid charges are going on without service.

 Apart from that other parts of the state on regular basis suffers from poor internet service.

Moreover interacting with TIWN an official of the head office at North Gate said that BSNL lacks staffs and facing other problems, but in reality maximum staffs were in slumber, giving an unique example of Govt run organization.

On the other hand with the sluggish work of BSNL, Tripura Industry and Commerce Minister already declared that due to pathetic service of BSNL and slow fibre cable work, state govt unable to active the Digital India Mission across Gram Panchayats. Aslo Tapan Chakrabory asked Central Govt to give Airtel as an alternative network.

Presently thousands of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) subscribers faced innumerable problems of low network connectivity, which erupted due to cutting of optical fibre.

However, BSNL Official told TIWN that work on it is going on since last 2 days and the problem will be resolved soon.
