AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): Joint Forum of BSNL Executive Associations have sat in 3 day long hunger strike along with the whole country.

This is the 2nd day of their hunger strike ongoing before Door Sanchar Nigam at Agartala.

Their demands are :

1. Replacement of nonstandard pay scale E1A & E2A by standard E2 and E 3 Pay scale.

2. Immediate issuance of promotions order from GTO (T) to SDE (T) under LDCE / DPC quota.

3. Resolving pending HR issues.

4. 30 % superannuation benefits to BSNL recruited employees.

5. Extending initial basic pay of Rs. 22, 820/- to executive recruited after 1-1-2017.

6. Uniform first time bound promotion after 4 yrs of all executives.

7. National Pay Scale of E1A& E2A w.e.f. 1-1-2000 for all JTO / SDE.

8. Scrapping of DR-DGM and MT recruitment rules.

The protesters said if their demands are not fulfilled they will go for further protests.
