AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): Samir Barman family's 'paid' service unparalleled in Tripura's political history as it benefitted CPI- M to remain in power over two decades. The unholy relation among Barman families with Tripura CPI-M via the Chief Minister led the Congress recently to banish Samir Barman finally from the party. Now Sudip Barman eventhough in Trinamool but has chosed as to be CPI-M’s agent, alleged many. Even after much controversy, Manik Sarkar’s smile shows as ‘real smile’ when he is chaired with his friend Samir Barman’s son Sudip Barman. Now the sudden interest of Sudip Barman to join BJP has created much tension among the RSS and a section of BJP members. However, Barmans were already termed by BJP the most poisonous root which spoils all parties just to assist CPI-M. Even on Monday Press meet, giving a signal to “never alliance” Deodhar, Biplab both said that few people are never allowed in BJP.

Recently after Tripura Congress Ex Chief Minister Samir Barman was suspended from the party, a rumour erupted about Barman's joining in BJP. However, when media asked Party President Biplab Deb about it Biplab Deb seemed to get a shock with the news. Replying media question on Saturday, Deb replied, "Please do not ask me such a question. Our party is not so kind to welcome such a big figure as Samir Barman, neither I heard anything like this and also keep me away from such questions". BJP has already termed as the Barman-party as a cancer affecting one party to another and BJP will not accept Trinamool for alliance if Barman is there.

Eventhough Sudip Barman being in Trinamool gave a signal for alliance with all opposition parties during the convention held at town hall, Agartala when Mukul Roy came in Tripura on April 5, but BJP and Congress both the opposition parties have abandoned Barman from the parties.

It was on March 14  terming newly created Trinamool party as ‘Barman-mool’ and referring Congress led Barman families secret relation with Tripura CPI-M Chief Minister Manik Sarkar who are helping CPI-M to stay in power since 23 yrs, Tripura BJP State President Biplab Deb declared that BJP will no more think about aligning with Trinamool, as either Trinamool or Congress; Sudip Barman and his family members will keep on touch with CPI-M and work as an agent of CPI-M with the mask of opposition.

Political experts say that the clash among BJP and Trinamool on March 13 was actually a blessing for BJP's future.

Tripura’s two rival oppositions BJP and TMC came in clash when BJP as a part of political campaigning was putting flags before former CM Samir Barman’s house at Agartala Hariganga Basak Road. Samir Barman’s younger Sandip Roy Barman son asked BJP leaders not to put any flags over there, whereas Bordowali Mandal Committee member of BJP Jayanta Bhowmik refused to do so. Reportedly, Bhowmik was among those leaders who joined BJP from Trinamool along with Surajit Dutta.

After the  mayhem talking to the media, BJP State President Biplab Deb said on the next day, “Yesterday’s incident proves how the Barmanfamilies have been operating till day in the mask of opposition leader. Either in Congress Era or now staying in BJP, Sudip Barman acts always supporting CPI-M and the hidden hatred for BJP has come out through the incident. However, what happened it was good, as BJP will not align with CPI-M anymore. This newly made Trinamool is not actually Trinamool, but it’s Barman-Mool”.

After the incident BJP members gheroued Samir Barman’s home. Sooner BJP, TMC both organized protest rallies at Agartala but during their protests before West Police Station a major clash occurred among them which left 20 people injured on spot, including BJP’s Mousumi Bhowmik, Subal Bhowmik with multiple stitches on head.

But whereas the clash occurred among BJP and Congress, but the fight emerged among BJP and Trinamool, which proves eventhough TMC was emerged in Tripura to avoid Congress and CPI-M’s mutuality but the incident proves Congress, TMC all are same and unnecessary clash emerged before West PS with CPI-M’s direction, alleged BJP, with the promise of “No Alliance with Barmans”.
