AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): CPI-M backed unions held a protest rally at Agartala on Monday hitting back BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar's comments about Manik Sarkar's luxurious lifestyle.

Deodhar before a day in a party gathering said that Manik Sarkar wants to prove himself as the best CPI-M person ever in the country and also propagates himself as the poorest CM of India, hiding his high-profile living.

Deodhar also raised question about Sarkar's spectacle, massage / facial and  other luxurious activities, which he enjoys but tells the public he donates his salary to the party.

In this regard CPI-M held a protest rally on Monday saying that being an outsider Deodhar has no right to talk against their 'favourite leader Manik Sarkar'.

However, in a press meet Deodhar also on the same day said, 'Talking massage, facial and enjoying other luxuries are not bad things. Even I go for sometimes, but question is why to fool people'?

'Manik Sarkar imports his dresses from Panjab. However, he can bring from London too but why he boosts his image with party ladder as the cleanest Communist leader?', Deodhar said.

'Earn money as much as you can, but in the correct way. Everyone has right to be rich, but hiding richness is hypocrisy", Deodhar added.
