AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Along with the whole world, Northeast state Tripura also observed ‘World Book Day’-2017 on Sunday.
Various programmes on this occasion were organized in Capital City Agartala. Much enthusiasm was also followed among the English Literature background students as it’s after all William Shakespeare’s birthday.
A programme was also organized at Birchanra library.
World Book Day or World Book and Copyright Day is a yearly event on April 23rd, organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, to promote reading, publishing and copyright.
