AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetization once again proven itself as a crusade against corrupt political establishments like CPI-M, TMC when plenty of Rs 1000, 500 notes black money washed away from households. In a shocking revelation, a huge number of old 1000 and 500 rupees notes were recovered from a drain at Baldakhal, Chandrapur on Thursday morning. These notes overflown after the first heavy rain had hit Agartala City and with drain water the notes floating on Thursday morning. ‘There were many notes, which could not be recovered. However, some of those black moneys were recovered as a proof’, said a local there. With this incident all the protests led by CPI-M here against the Centre issuing demonetization has been flopped as it’s now clear demonetization hit atleast a section of people, who could not manage those money even after buying gold, diamonds on that very night of Oct 8, 2016.

On 8 November 2016, the Government of India announced the demonetisation of all Rs. 500 and Rs.1,000 banknotes in an attempt to target to undisclosed cashes at home. Oppositions and Anti-Modi political parties called the Prime Minister as Muhammad bin Tughluq to term Prime Minister’s decision as a bogus decision.

In Tripura, CPI-M held various expensive shows, rallies to protest against demonetization. But at the end, this incident has increased the Modi craze once again, pouring cold water to all vacuums against PM Modi created by CPI-M.

From this day, Modi lovers in Tripura will refer today’s incident as an example, how PM Modi’s decision was 100 % correct.

However, this incident has frustrated the CPI-M and also has given a boost to the opposition BJP to hit the ruling Govt more.

When 8 months just left for the election, BJP also received a hot cake to propagate Modi’s ‘achhe din’ promises from this incident of ‘overflowed block money’ at Baldakhal, Chandrapur in Capital Agartala.
