‘Not pay review committee, implement Pay Commission before Durga Puja’ : Opposition

AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): BJP State President Biplab Deb once again stressing mostly talked 7th Pay Commission said that instead of pay review committee Govt should immediately launch the 7th pay commission, which is felicitating many states in India already.

Criticizing the setting of Pay Review Committee, the President mentioned the party demands to implement the Pay Commission before this Durga Puja; otherwise BJP will come in massive protest.

 On the other hand BJP President twice promised the 1.5 lakhs of Govt employees that if BJP comes in power then it will implement 7th pay commission within 3 months.

However, instead of Pay Commission, depressing the state govt employees Tripura Govt set up a Pay review committee and the decision of the pay review committee yet to be known.

As a part of the Election Promise State BJP President Biplab Deb in an official statement announced that if in 2018 BJP comes in power within 3 months from the Election result state govt employees to receive the benefited by 7th Pay Commission’s implementation. Also the party has finalized a draft report for the outcome of the promise.

On the other hand a group of teachers are sitting in demonstration in demand of refunding DA and 7th pay commission.

However, it’s to be seen whether Tripura Govt implements the pay commission or not as already the election battle is turning further critical for CPI-M.
