AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): Whereas CPI-M is much jealous of BJP’s fund and the campaigning ahead of Assembly Election-2018, CPI-M is allegedly in tough time, as various free fund flows have been paused by the Modi Govt after finding crores and crores of non-utilize funds under various Govt Depts, now trying to receive commission from a tin company. Moreover, with demonetization, Central Govt has announced that for any kind party donation, above than Rs. 2000 rupees any party has to record details about the person who donated it. However, any political party knows how to manage the party fund by hook and crook, especially when it’s in power. A major allegation has brought by opposition BJP against Tripura Govt that in the name of providing tins, Govt has asked all the PMAY beneficiaries to submit Rs. 18640 to the Govt for Tin supply. The target is to take some commission from a tin company or businessmen who will provide tins with discounts or of low quality, alleged BJP State President Biplab Deb at party office.

Addressing a press meet, BJP State President Biplab Deb said, “When a person is capable of buying everything including brick, cement, woods, irons why he has to depend upon the state govt for tin? This Govt has no shame to destroy poor people’s money. As per Pradhan Mantri Awash Yojna, a person will directly get their benefits in their accounts but Tripura CPI-M Govt is misusing their money”.

It’s worthy to mention here that the PMAY scheme has been in target of corrupted minds before it started to work in the state. On January, 2017 Union Ministry asks Chief Secretary to send DPR on PMAY scheme implementation after State BJP reported to Union Ministry about the bogus beneficiaries listed under PMAY scheme.

Tripura Govt has not uploaded anything in brief in its websites too, whereas a confusion has been created among the common people about PMAY scheme. Talking to the media, BJP State President Biplab Deb said, “For rural areas the Central Govt is sanction rupees 1.30 lakhs and for urban bodies the amount per houses giving by Central Govt is 1.50 lakhs". "As the urban bodies demand is high, so the amount has also been increased there. But on 2nd Sept. the Central Urban Development Minister has received the bogus name list under PMAY scheme in Tripura and as a result the frauds done under PMAY scheme has been come out”, said Deb.

Biplab Deb further claimed that he met the RS ministry  Joint Secretary and notified him about Tripura’s corruption across urban and rural bodies .

Earlier, it was also reported that 60 % of the submitted beneficiaries are fake in Tripura under PMAY scheme. Later some modifications were brought in this regard, but complaints about PMAY scheme’s improper implementation are coming across the state. In this condition, left front govt ha started tin-business to manage the party fund ahead of Assembly Election-2018.
