TIWN April 13, 2017
AGARTALA, April 13 (TIWN): On February 2nd,2017TMC’s Tripura supremoSudip Barman had presentedMLA Biswabandhu Sen in a press conference to outset all rumours about Bishwabandhu’s imminent joining in BJP. The MLA who left Congress to join Trinamool was meeting State BJP President Biplab Deb and his family on that time which created mass resentments among Trinamool ranks. However, Sudip Barman failed to stop Biswabandhu’sjump for BJP and most likely to join BJP soon as TIWN Dharmanagar correspondent reported on Monday night. Reportedly, Bandhu was last seen when BJP attacked in Trinamool party office one month back and after that all the ‘michil’, meetings of Trinamool at Dharmanagar had held without Biswabandhu. The doubt actually raised on April-5 when Mukul Banerjee arrived in Tripura to attend a party convention at town hall. From Udaipur MLA Pranajit Sinha Roy to North Tripura executive members remained present on that occasion but Bandhu was missing from that hall. The doubt further cleared, when Biswabandhu began to skip all the party meetings and rallies at Dharmanagar too.
It's worthy to mention here that during a press meet on February at Agartala TMC Bhawan, Biswabandhu Sen said all the rumours against his ‘joining in BJP’ are false. This press meet was followed by BJP’s Biplab Deb and Trinamool’s Biswabandhu Sen also held a meeting at Dharmanagar and following the meeting both of them said to defeat CPI-M is Tripura oppositions aim right now. After the meeting regard asking Biplab Deb he said, ‘CPI-M’s long regime should be abolished from Tripura and the Assembly should confirm the ruling party’s defeat’. Trinamool MLA Biswabandhu Sen said, “All the anti-left parties should be together ahead of Assembly Election”.
This news just blasted at TMC head quarter at Jackson gate like an atom bomb and it was Sudip Barman who pushed Biswabandu to clarify which party he woes. Much afraid Biswabandhu told media that he always will be in TMC, but now he is again avoiding TMC persons and most likely to join BJP, without any position and just as a member like Tronamool former Chairman RatanChakaraborty who during joining said, "Do not come in BJP for position".
