Belonia, April 13 (TIWN): A lifeless situation has triggered resentment against the banking service of South Tripura on the eve of Bengali New Year which was to be dedicated for the extra 6 hours care to the customers.

Reportedly, lack of cashes for money-exchange has hit many private banks and the customers are left with no other option but moving to Govt banks. TIWN visited few private banks at Belonia/Sabroom/Santirbazar, but 500 rupees notes were not available as observed. 'The situation will be in control within this week', said a banker to TIWN.

More or less in every subdivisions the situation is same. In most of the places people are bound to wait before the long lines at State Banks. The situation which was bad on wednessday has been worsen on Thursday, TIWN reported.

The usual non-workable condition the ATMs at South Tripura are the chief reason behind such a disorder, resulting a huge rush of customers before banks. However, a very little number of ATMs worked for few hours  time but public were found to run from one ATM to another in search of money.
