AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): After Tapan Chakraborty's Empty-Promises about his assurance to be with 10,323 teachers, now Tripura Govt taking futile attempts to reverse SC's verdict as a part of Communist diplomacy to dump the blames upon the Central Govt for not reversing Supreme Court's verdict. Moreover, sitting in TET doesn’t mean getting a job. But yet against few thousand of vacant posts for Tripura teachers MP Jiten has raised the demand of age relaxation for 10,323 teachers surpassing Supreme Court’s order so that the teachers can complete there B.Ed degree. First of all HRD Minister is also committed to Indian Constitution that he can not reverse SC’s verdict. Second point is that there are total 10,323 teachers but Tripura Govt’s vacancies are also limited.

Like RMSA staffs fates, these 10,323 teachers fates are never to change, but with the meeting of 3 MPs with Central HRD Minister, CPI-M has set the stage before election to dump all the blames upon the Central Govt for not accepting their requests whereas SC has clearly mentioned 5 points, " The SC order gave 5 strict points : (a) New employment policy should be framed by the state by April 30, 2017 if not already framed, advertisements for filling up the vacancies may be issued latest by May 31st, 2017, (b) The fresh selection process be completed on or before December 31st, 2017 and till the fresh process is completed, the teachers already appointed shall continue, (c) The candidates who participated in the selection process pursuant to the advertisements in question, whether selected or not, be allowed to participate in the fresh selection process by relaxing their age but subject to their having necessary qualifications, (d) The qualifications in the case of teachers governed by the provisions of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 shall be in conformity with the relevant statutory provisions of the said Act, (e) The qualifications of teachers employed for Classes IX and above shall be strictly in compliance with the relevant provisions concerning such appointments.

Tapan Chakraborty had promised those 10,323 teachers that state govt is with them, but now the same govt is making the dais ready to blame the Central Govt behind "Empty Promises" of Tapan.

With this double game of CPI-M leaders the already TET qualified unemployed have been deprived heavily, Allegation came against the ruling Govt that to ensure the B.Ed qualified teachers (only among 10,323) with teaching jobs Tripura Govt already started to deprive other TET qualified unemployed who had no link with 10,323 but qualified TET in 2017. Reportedly, depriving 292 TET qualified candidates of 2016-17, Tripura Govt against 821 vacant posts advertized in daily, selected only 529 candidates, whereas 1200 candidates already qualified TET. Thus 292 posts are left vacant amidst plenty of qualified teachers who have B.Ed as well as passed TET in last year. A source said that to benefit 10,323 teachers the Govt has taken this decision. But among all the chaos question raises, how many jobs with age relaxation the CPI-M Govt can give as there are 10,323 teachers along with thousands of fresh unemployed roaming with B.Ed degree. Tripura Govt is doing everything to prove the Ministers as wise, except accepting that the govt was wrong for illegal recruitment of 10,323 teachers.

From CM to his Minister and Party Secretary all are saying that SC’s verdict is inhuman; even Badal Choudhury said, “SC judges are politically biases”, but none of them accepted that the Education Dept was guilty.

In this situation, Tripura Govt is doing its best to manage its vote bank and pushing the anger to other direction with high-fly visits to New Delhi and meeting few of the Ministers. That’s why a Trinamool opposition leader here said recently, “There are many people, but CPI-Ms are the biggest liars either in case of MGNREGA or deprived unemployed”.

Not only with 10,323 teachers but CPI-M’s lies are going across every sections of people. After so many incidents, the Govt has not taken any step to rectify its faulty recruitment policy. Surprising, but true, in Group-C and Group-D Tripura Govt is giving jobs on oral test basis, whereas as per centre’s guideline TPSC is must in such jobs.

In this condition MP Jiten’s crocodiles tear before HRD Minister proves one thing directly that Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty even though said that Tripura Govt is with 10,323 teachers, but it has actually no capacity to give them any job and that’s the reason now MPs are trying to make a new strategy so that in their next speeches they can blame the Central Govt and the HRD Minister for being “Inhuman” as like Supreme Court and take an easy escape from the scandal as the Govt did in RMSA and Jute Mill cases.

Jiten Chowdhury also lied to HRD Minister requesting to consider the proposal of State Government to extend one time relaxation, in terms of marks and professional qualifications, that suddenly the adequate number of candidates shall not available in the State, which shall create a vacuum in the State education system and immense inconvenience to the students…whereas presently 292 teachers posts are vacant as per last TET Exam result, but around 600 TET qualified unemployed youths have not given jobs eventhough passed as per the advertisement in 2017.
