AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): Gramin Krira is going on in full wave amidst much enthusiasm in players across Tripura.

On Tuesday at Ward No-20, Agartala the Gramin Krira was held.

Ratna Dutta, Councilor inaugurated the match, and also met all the players.

With gymnast Dipa Karmakar's excellent performance, state Tripura has geared up to celebrate sports events and to find out talents from every corners of the state.

The first match was conducted on April 8. In this regard matches have kicked off under Agartala Municiapl Corporation's 17, 18 and 25 number wards, catered huge number of audiences on that day.

AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha inaugurated the programme, following by cultural dances and patriotic dance-drama performances at Sishubihar school ground.

The Gramin Kriras or rural matches are going on across the state.
