AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): The unemployment tension is on peak in NE state Tripura, turned pathetic in last 5 yrs, with the increasing number of educated youths and declining of agriculture. Ahead of Assembly Election-2018 there are only roars of protests led by Tripura non-political unemployed youths fueling the oppositions to hit the CPI-M Govt and now busy to explode its corruptions. Tripura Pradesh Congress demanding 'unemployment allowance' along with other 5 demands is set to kick off its march rally on April-18 which is to be continued till March 26. The 9 day long march will begin from Dharmanagar to Agartala and Sabroom to Agartala. However the Dharmanagar-Agartala team will lead by Seva Dal, whereas Sabroom-Agartala team will lead by Youth Congress and NSUI. The demand was raised when Supreme Court exposed Tripura Govt's recruitment corruption and cancelled 10,323 teachers' job on March-29, 2017. But Tripura Govt has not given any reply to oppositions' demands. On the other hand the unemployed youths instead of allowance are demanding 'job opportunities', rather than allowances.

Tripura's industry-less condition  and increasing number of general colleges  along with huge vacancies in Govt posts as well as empty private opportunities in state are the chief causes of unemployed youths' frustrations.

On the other hand the people who are engaged in Govt jobs are losing their jobs in state due to illegal recruitment policy. Not only 10,323 teachers but many teachers, lecturers, health staffs jobs are uncertain due to the illegal recruitment led by state govt. Many cases are pending at High court in this regard against Tripura Govt.

In this condition, ahead of Assembly Election CPI-M is in much trouble, whereas Trinamool MLA Sudip Barman also said compensation/ allowance are not the solution to it.

Tripura BJP leader advised all the youths in Tripura that instead of walking in political rallies they must focus on their studies in school, colleges and do hard work to get jobs. BJP President Biplab Deb giving a green signal to fair mean of interview process in coming days said, "It's the guideline which can give you a job and secure your job. No political party has capacity to give any job to you".

In this situation how far Congress's demand will be affective it's to be seen. It's worthy to mention here that before North Gate 17 students are sat in hunger strike since 48 hours demanding filling up vacancies in agriculture dept where since 7 years no recruitment was done.
