AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M Chief Minister Sarkar's close friend former Congress Chief Minister Samir Barman was suspended from the party on Friday with the charges of 'indisciplinary' activities against the party. Samir Barman was also the Congress President for long, but allegation came many times against Barman for betraying Congress got his secret alliance with CPI-M. Samir Barman's son Sudip Barman is now presently heading the newly emerged party Trinamool Congress after he left Congress. Before joining Trinamool, Barman was a Congress MLA but breaking down the whole Congress party, Barman along with 5 other MLAs joined Trinamool before 7 months to create a new political party with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's ideology telling the mass that Trinamool will fight against CPI-M.

A major section of experts claim that both Samir Barman and his son Sudip Barman are helping CPI-M secretly and it was the Barman family who successfully kept CPI-M in power her for long 24 yrs.

Newly emerged BJP in Tripura also declared that no alliance BJP will do with any party, where these Barman family exists. However, Barman's suspension was issued by All India Congress Committee, but not state congress, confirmed Birjit Sinha.

Addressing the press meet, Tripura present congress president Birjit Sinha said that many allegations came against Samir Barman since his Chief Ministership for his involvement in anti-party activities and all the allegations have been proven as true.

When Sudip Barman left Congress to form Trianmool along with 80 % strong members of Congress, Birjit Sinha slamming Sudip Barman said, 'a person can never help its state who left its party in bad time'.

'Sudip Barman is just a fraud and wants to ride on Govt vehicles and enjoy the rides', said Sinha earlier.

It's worthy to mention here that Samir Ranjan Barman is an Indian Politician of All India Trinamool Congress. He was the Chief Minister of Tripura in India from 19.2.92 to 10.3.93 as a member of the Indian National Congress.
