AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Eventhough BJP mentioned clearly that without any alliance the party will come in power, but during the 1 day convention held at Agartala Townhall, TMC MLA Sudip Roy Barman said, "If the opposition party vote banks divide, then CPI-M will get 60 seats out of 60 in Tripura". However, Barman also criticized BJP indirectly saying that they will not take any step further till June month, as earlier in many cases including court cases the leaders had fought with CPI-M in courts but now other parties are taking political mileage from it. "BJP is claiming that out of 60, 60 seats they will achieve in election, but in actual it is hard without joining opposition vote banks", said Barman. TMC MP West Bengal Mukul Roy was also present on that occasion. About CPI-M the MLA said that CPI-M is fraud party and depriving the people since it's in power. The convention was lead by MLA Dibachandra Rankhal, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, MLA Pranajit Singha Roy.

It's worthy to mention here that eventhough TMC is talking about alliance BJP on Tuesday claimed that BJP alone is capable to defeat CPI-M.

Addressing a press meet at Party Office state BJP Observer Sunil Dedhar announced that Amit Shah's visit will be in Tripura to strengthen the party as BJP's chances in Tripura is highest in whole Northeast.

But Shah's visit will fully focused on party meeting and crucial decision which will be taken ahead of Assembly Election-2018. Replying the media question, Sunil Deodhar said, "Amit Shah in this visit is not going to address any rally but the importance of his arrival lies with meeting with BJP leaders as well as members.

Shah further mentioned, "Every States are being visited by Amit Shah right now and also on 15 / 16 there will be a meeting at Bhuwaneswar. But among all the NE states, Tripura is the first target of BJP. This is the only state, where BJP can easily come independently".

"At Nagaland and Meghalaya BJP is all in on, but Tripura is exceptional. Here it doesn't need any kind of help from other parties", Deodhar added.

But Sudip Barman said, "Our target is to defeat CPI-M, but other parties are not their enemies. MLA Asish Saha also mentioned same that defeating CPI-M is their main goal.
