Agartala, July 12 (TIWN): Tripura High Court Bar Association felicitated the Justice of Supreme Court- Madan B. Lokur at High Court Bar Asso hall, here today. Justice Lokur arrived in Agartala to attend a two-day long orientation programme on ‘Strengthening wildlife law enforcement and conservation in guide for the judiciary in Tripura’ organised by the Forest Department on July 11.

In presence of the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court- Deepak Gupta, Justice Subhasis Talapatra, Justice SC Das and Justice UB Saha including president, vice president and other High Court Bar Association members, Justice Lokur was felicitated today.

While addressing the function, Justice Lokur said, “The quality of the judgments have been improved in the state. In case of Juvenile cases, the Magistrates are carrying out their jobs very seriously. But still there are a lot of scopes for improvement.”

“I had have the best assistance from the Bar members for last two years in Tripura High Court. I didn't find any difficulties. I have found in some cases for the last two months that the junior lawyers performed outstanding”, said Chief Justice.
