Tripura Government writes to MHRD

Agartala, Aug 17, (TIWN) the state government has written letter to the Union Minister for Human Resource Development seeking relaxation of norms in relation to Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) and recruitment of under graduate teacher in the School Education department.
Government has sent a proposal, also, to provide phase wise training for around 11000 untrained school teachers by another two year.
Principal Secretary of the state department mentioned, told reporters that he is hopeful about the letter that has been sent. On the other hand, the MHRD suggested the government to hold TET for eligible candidates in school education.
