AGARTALA, April 3 (TIWN): Supreme Court's tight slap on CPI-M Govt's 10323 Teachers illegal recruitment brought down Manik Sarkar Govt's credibility among job aspirants. Multiple suicides by teachers and their families causing pathetic situation across Tripura. After much rumors about 10,323 teachers' future and Govt's planning regarding their age bar increasing there are quite confusions among the public. But talking to TIWN on Monday , Tripura Education cum Law Minister Tapan Chakraborty on said, "Tripura Govt is with 10,323 teachers and presently there is no update of my statement. My statement of March 29 that 'Tripura Govt is with 10,323 teachers' is today also same and we are still undecided about what to do next". "Brief study of SC's order is going on but till now we are working to support them and trying to find out the ways how to help them as per Supreme Court's direction as well as per our recruitment policy". However, TIWN further asked the Minister that in a daily newspaper it has been known that Govt may increase the age bar for the teachers who lost job, but the Minister said that nothing has been decided such but as per rules regulation as much as possible teachers will be recruited in their respective posts following guidelines.

Already 2 teachers died after the 10,323 case's hearing on Sunday. One teacher named Parimal Deb (45)  hanged himself at his home at Teliamura's Chamubosti area, in Champahour. Another teacher died out of heart attack named Haridas Deb (55). However, the later mentioned Haridas Deb's son-in-law had lost job with Supreme Court Verdict, whereas Parimal Deb was himself a teacher to face the verdict among 10,323 teachers.

However, all the teachers are carrying different-different views for now as some of them are ready to file case against Govt right now, but some demands alternative jobs. Committee President Bimal Saha while interacting with media said that the teachers will go for a strike soon, but the date has yet not fixed. Their first priority is their rights presently, Saha told media.

But talking to Minister Tapan Chakraborty it has been known that since 1 week the Govt is although 'with 10,323 teachers', but unable to think about what to do next.
