TIWN April 1, 2017
AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): 'Why you were only with 10,323 teachers but not with us'?, the deprived youth asked Tripura CM Manik Sarkar on Saturday at Press Club after unfolding Tripura Govt's corruption and double game with unemployed youths. The youths had never faced media earlier, but after the historical verdict given by Tripura Supreme Court on March-29, 2017 where 10,323 teachers lost their jobs; on Saturday for the first time the other deprived youths met the press and said in details about their continuous struggle-history at High Court as well as Supreme Court.
Addressing the Press meet the youths said, "First of all I thank the whole state for being with us and now it's our moral duty to let the state know about the whole history since the year 2010.
'First of all the case which was pending in High Court from 2010 to 2014, we were almost helpless and nobody helped us fully, neither opposition parties also available for all time support. Moreover, we had to manage the fees of the lawyers by ourselves and it can be said, 'We Fought Our Own Fights all Alone' !', they added.
The unemployed youths also claimed that they can give proves of illegal jobs beneficiaries with name and address.
'Since 2010 to 2014 no political parties helped us 100 % and after 2014 at SC we applied for advance deviate but due to financial problem we could not do this. On that time, we met Nil Moni Dey, a social worker and he introduced us with Manoranjan Pradhan who hearing our problems introduced us with Adv. Dr. Bharat Kumar and Joydip Roy who gave us much discounts in their fees with Manoranjan Pradhan's request. But till day nobody mentioned their names, which is quite surprising. Obviously, Adv. Salman Khurshid was on behalf of us'.
'Our ultimate question is......why the Govt is only with those 10,323 teachers, but not with 7 lakhs unemployed youths ? As a CM, he betrayed us and he behaved not as the Chief Minister but almost like an agent of political party', they added.
