AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): Amidst day to day petrol crisis, state Tripura's petrol pumps have been reported with full of fuel stock which is enough to run a state without any fuel importing for long 1 week. But on the practical ground the fuel crisis grips Tripura, if a single day petrol is not imported in state. The last petrol crisis for 3 days reported from Tripura was due to All India Strike of the drivers across Northeast, blocking the ways of petrol entrance to Tripura. The petrol pump dealers on that time said that due to the strike state could not receive any fuel, whereas data says, in Tripura presently there are 60 petrol pumps, whereas everyday 190 KL petrol is needed in state, the stock in state is 708 KL. In case of diesel 400 KL is needed per day, but the actual diesel's stock is 1,098 KL, that are 6 times greater than the need.

In this condition the cause of day to day petrol crisis can be identified as black-marketing.

On the other hand petrol was to import via railway, but presently there is no sign of fuel export via that way. In this condition, question raises, why petrol theft has remained unchecked even after multiple times of crisis since last year.

Due to the petrol crisis, state suffers multiple times in a year, but the Govt has no headache regarding all these. But where the fuel goes ? TIWN Dharmanagar correspondent filed multiple times that the bullets while entering the state always  sell half of the fuel to local businessmen for further black marketing uses.

Such activities have remained unchecked resulting day to day petrol crisis.
