AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN): “Tribal Engineers’ Society, Tripura,” in co-operation with “All India SC/ST Employees’ Welfare Association, ONGC, Tripura” and “ONGC, Tripura Asset” has organized the distribution of 100 Nos. Tripura Make Carbon Water Filters (50 liters capacity) at Bilaikang under Atharamura VC, Mungiakami Block, Khowai District.

The habitation of Bilaikang para is one of the remotest hilly areaS under Khowai District of Tripura and the beneficiaries are belonged to Tripuri and Reang community.

 In this connection an Awareness Camp on Drinking Water & Sanitation, Health (malaria & diarrhea) was also conducted by the “Tribal Engineers’ Society, Tripura” before distribution of Filters. Where, Dr. S.K. Debbarma, Er. Ajoy Debbarma, JE, DWS Sub Division Mungiakami have attended as resource persons.

  In addition about 100 villagers were treated by doctor and provided with free medicine.
