AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Illegal activities have been spiked up in Tripura including stone smuggling activities and huge tax-free business.

Reportedly, from Assam the stones are smuggled via Kadamtala road everyday.

The ruling party backed many businessmen allegedly involved in this activity. The business runs based on Kadamtala-Sanichara-Dharmanagar.

Due to alleged involvement of police the tax-free stone importing from Assam has gone at rise, causing a huge losses to the revenue income.
