AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): TMC youth forum member Sanjay Dey was arrested from Agartala with the allegation of threatening former TMC Chairman and presently BJP member Ratan Chakraborty for changing the party.

Dey has accepted that he is guilty, SP West Abhijit Saptarshi informed media.

A case has been registered against Dey under IPC 506 and to be presented before the court.

Ratan Chakraboty’s resign from Trinamool had shocked the party as he was almost the Godfather of the party, but Chakraborty told media on Wednesday that eventhough Mamata Banerjee’s drive was praiseworthy but she had chosen wrong people for Tripura to support her party.

With similar incidents, a political unrest has created in state since last few months as the leaders are now jumping from one party to another.
