AGARTALA, March 22 (TIWN): No more confusion remained that Tripura borders are the free pass for Indian criminals and corridor for all illegal actvities. After inquiry led by Karnataka police and based on main accused in IIS blast Sabhahuddin’s claim about Habib Mia’s capacity it has been known that Habib Mia not only managed the logistical support to them, but he helped mastermind Sabahuddin to exile in Bangladesh via Tripura border. However, whether from China or from Bangladesh / Mayanmar Habib bought those weapons, it’s yet unknown. After Mia was arrested from Tripura, Karntaka revealed Mia’s mastery over illegal activities staying in Tripura. Habib Mia was taken to Bengaluru 2 days back on Saturday after his transit remand was granted based on 81 CRPC. There was pending warrant against Habib Mia by Karnataka Court and stood on that report DM had given the transit remand and after inquiry Habib Mia’s involvement was proven. Karnataka Anti Terror Squad (ATS) on Saturday took on four-day transit remand a suspected terrorist connected to the 2005 terror attack at Bengaluru's Indian Institute of Science (IIS) after he was he was produced before the court on Saturday.

Reportedly, Habib  is one of the seven persons wanted and charge-sheeted in connection with the attack on IIS at Bengaluru in 2005. He will be presented in a Bengaluru court for police custody for further questioning.  

Apart from Habib Mia, 7 persons are there who already were jailed. The court further convicted Mohammed Raza-ul-Rehman, Afzal Pasha, Mehboob Ibrahim, Miruddin Khan, Nizamuddin and Munna on charge of plotting the terror attack and waging war against the country, but acquitted another man charged with conspiracy.

According to sources, LeT operative Sabahuddin, one of the main accused in the attack who was arrested in 2008, had told the Bengaluru police about the help rendered by Mia, a native of Agartala. Mia had also allegedly helped Sabahuddin to travel to Bangladesh to plan the attack on IISc. “Sabahuddin claims to have come in contact with Habib in Agartala,” the source said.

Thus now it can be imagined how dangerous the Agartala city is becoming for the citizens where terrorists are meeting with each other, planning about Karnataka blast and after the work is done via free passage of Indo-Bangla border the criminals are exporting there

Habib Mia’s father has been exposed as Ganu Mia. Ganu Mia, who is a leader of Tripura CPI-M Minority and Khetmajdur Union leader, resident of Jogendranagar. Not only this, Ganu Mia is the former Upa-Pradhan of Panchayat, presently Deputy mayor Samar Chakraborty’s 28 No. ward’s member. Not only this, the arrested Habib Mia is also a CITU leader, who held this terror attack before 12 yrs.
