AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): Tripura Trinamool Congress MLA Asish Saha on Tuesday said, "We stayed at New Delhi for 3 days to meet Dr Jitendra Singh Tomar on behalf of Prime Minister as the PM was busy in a Digital campaigning. But after staying 3 / 4 days we failed to meet him, which was a total waste of time for our party and also insult to the democracy. If we met the Minister, we would talk about the Rose Valley scam held in Tripura under the shelter of CPI-M Ministers including Chief Minister Manik Sarkar". Calling media on Tuesday afternoon, Trinamool MLA Asish Saha said, "On 16th March a team of Trinamool Congress led by Trinamool MLAs visited New Delhi to meet the DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh Tomar after taking appointments and being invited by PMO. The main issue was to discuss about the Rose Valley scam and CPI-M's nexus with the scam. But this was really unexpected experience we received there".

Earlier, TMC in the month of January told that it is going to meet the Prime Minister of India regarding various scams and chit fund issues.

On January 6 MLA Asish Saha sent an email to PMO saying, "A delegation team of MLAs would like to call upon the Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi in between 25th to 30th January 2017 to apprise him about the rampant corruptions let loose by the Left Front Government in Tripura and also scams done by various Non-Banking Finance Companies (NBFC)".

On Feb 25th PMO asked Asish Saha to fix a suitable appointment. Then on March 7 PMO gave an appointment on March 17 with Jitendra singh Tomar.

Following these emails and confirming via phone calls the MLAs went New Delhi to meet the Minister on March 16, but waiting there for long 3 days they failed the meet any one from PMO. Moreover, PMO didn't bother to receive the call of MLAs, alleged Asish Saha.

Saha further said that staying in power if the Central Govt thinks the value of Legislative Assembly members are so much below than the Central Ministers that is unfair and insult to the democracy. Saha further mentioned in a media question that State BJP President Biplab Deb should use proper language while targeting other party members.
