AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): Petrol crisis again hit Tripura badly fueled by 'All India Strike' of fuel bearing drivers resling the customers suffering and standing in long queues for the last two days at petrol pumps across the capital city, Agartala. All the petrol pumps as Motorstand, Dhaleswar, Radhanagar, Durgabari, Ganaraja Chowmuhani are left dry in Agartala disrupting the vehicle movements heavily. State is observing also less number of vehicles on the road due to the acute shortage of petrol here. Talking to a petrol pump workers at Ganaraj Chowmuhani it was known that due to all India basis strikes no fuel is importing in state, resulting this crisis situation. Though, the petrol crisis continued, but Dept of food & civil supplies had not yet taken any proper steps to purchase oil from other oil corporations except IOCL.

Outside in the black-market petrol is available at high price but that is also adulterated with kerosene. On the other hand in black market petrol rate at rise.

At Dharmanagar petrol rate is Rs. 80 and in Agartala it's beginning from Rs. 100/-, however, in some places it's less than it.

Eventhough petrol pump workers said the crisis will be ended by tomorrow but there is no guarantee of it.

At Agartala Motor Stand, along with 'No Petrol' sign, 'Do not stand in line' banner has also been given.

In this condition the common people are suffering majorly whereas the Food and Civil Service officials are resting without any headache.
