KUMARGHAT, March 19 (TIWN): One youth was killed and 2 injured being victim of social rules at Kumarghat.

Reportedly, Tapanjoy Reang (26) was killed brutally by his local people and police have already arrested 5 persons into this murder case named : Jeremia Reang, Matmonte Reang, Lalrinthanlunga Reang, Debenrada Reang, Buthsaini Reang.

2 wounded persons named Surendra Reang, Mirharam Reang are now under treatment at Fatikroy Primary Health Centre.

Kumarghat’s DM Colony’s residence Niranjan Reang lives at Bengaluru. His wife Rimabari Reang allegedly tortures upon her laws daily. After multiple complaints raised in panchayat the matter remained unsolved.

However, when a matter goes at rise the Reangs used to give social justice as per their tradition.

After social verdict from Reang society Rimabari Reang went back to her parent’s home and on Saturday came with her family members to take back her things.

However, after that Rimabati allegedly began to break down other items of the house, which created massive panic among the locals.

Then in a clash a rent holder youth named Tapanjoy Reang died on the spot. 

After that police arrested these 5 persons. But what surprises is that at Panjab, ‘Khap-Panchayat’ was prohibited but in Tripura women are divorced by society till day ? This is may be another name of ‘Golden Era’.
