AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): Supreme Court Judge Ranjen Gogoi laid foundation stone of new administrative building at Tripura High Court.

 Justice and Tripura Law Minister jointly laid the foundation stone of the new building in the High Court premise on Saturday.

 Justice Ranjan Gogoi is a judge of the Supreme Court of India. He is in line to become the Chief Justice of India in October 2018, succeeding Justice Dipak Misra, as the seniormost judge of the Court.

 Tripura High Court was established on 23 March 2013, after making suitable amendments in the Constitution of India and North-Eastern Areas Act, 1971.
