The programme was aimed to boost Digital consuming, that preserves the rights of consumers.

However, the World Consumer Day is actually observed on March 15, means to aware the consumers about transparency of selling / buying.

World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD) is an opportunity to promote the basic rights of all consumers, demanding that those rights are respected and protected, and a chance to protest against the market abuses and social injustices which undermine those rights.

However, in Tripura eventhough every year, the Consumer rights Day is celebrated with full enthusiasm, but hardly any shop keeper apart from malls provides the customers any cash-memo.
