AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): RD Principal Secretary GSG Ayyangar on Friday via chopper ride reached Kailashahar with the project of doubling farmers’ income within 2022.

However, after Manik Sarkar it’s only Ayyangar who enjoys the chopper ride mostly among all the secretaries, although the chopper never returned back to check the utilization of the expenditure.

Reportedly, Ayyanagar held a 3 hours long workshop and discussed about farmers problems. Mainly irrigation problem had come out as one of the main problems faced by the farmers.

The organizer of the workshop was Agriculture Dept. Agriculture Dept Director D P Sarkar was present on that occasion.

However, how far this 5 yrs plan will work out it’s to be seen.
