During the visit, the secretary of BSD- Nakul Das, secretary of JDU, state branch- Ashim Sarkar including many others interacted with the governor and expressed their grievances.

According to a press release issued by the BSD and JDU, the state is experiencing the miserable consequences due to the outbreak of malaria in the larger parts specially the hilly areas recently. Now malaria epidemic can not be controlled only by the efforts of the state government. For that they urged to the governor to take up the matter with the central government for coordinating efforts in the prevention of malaria outbreak in the state.

It was also mentioned in the press release that the state government declared in a recent past that about 45 thousand posts in various departments are lying vacant. Out of these 31 thousand of posts are reserved for SCs and STs. Central government has repeatedly requested the state government to fill up the vacant reserve posts through a special drive but in vein. Moreover the state govt had deserved 145000 posts on the plea of non-availability of suitable candidate which is completely untrue. But those posts were recreated and appointed following the 100 point roster.

In a landmark judgement, the High Court of Tripura had cancelled the jobs of 10323 UGT, GT, PGT teachers recently. Hence, BSD and JDU members requested to the governor to give proper direction to the state govt to withdraw the SPL from the Supreme Court regarding this and fill up the 45000 vacant posts immediately with SC and ST reserve category.

The document indicates, TRTC and Tripura Jute Mill going to be closed for corruption and corrupt practice and mismanagement. They expressed in the press release that the prolonged one party rule in the name of left front has jeopardized the democratic system. Rape, gang-rape, murder and murder post rape are everyday incident in the state. But nobody get proper justice. The state govt is non-functioning in practice. For that, the members urged to the governor to direct the state govt for constitution of enquiry commission regarding these issues.
