AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has undertaken 5 new pension schemes, Finance Minister Bhnaulal Saha declared in the Assembly while placing the budget.
‘I propose 5 new pension schemes for Folk Artists, Carpenters, Blacksmiths, Potters and Horijons (having no govt employee) belonging to SC, at a monthly rate of Rs. 700/- per beneficiary’, said Saha.
‘This will cost the Govt about Rs. 3.00 crorores and will likely benefit 9000 people. The age for these pension will not be less than 55 and with income of not more than Rs. Lac per annum’, Saha added.
