AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIW): Atleast 1500 picketers had been arrested across Tripura during a statewide protest.

This protest was held under the name of Civil Disobedience movement as  a part of protest against Modi Govt.

Congress Chief Birjit Sinha lead the protest at the Capital City.

West Tripura police led by SP Abhijit Saptarshi and Add SP Sharmistha Chakrabory arrested the picketers after the picketers developed a mayhem with police.

Apart from Agartala in every subdivisions Congress raised voice against BJP led Govt. centering ‘demonetization’ move.
