Dharmanagar Feb 16 (TIWN): 159 BN of BSF celebrated its 4th Raising Day at Border as well as at Battalion HQ Panisagar.

Many activities were conducted on this occasion including Barakhana, games, cultural program and Sainik Sammelan etc.

The troops of the Battalion were full of enthusiasm, happiness and high morale. The Commandant of the Battalion Sh L S Dahiya along with its team distributed sweets among the border population and many joined Barakhana with Jawans at Border and Battalion HQ at Panisagar.

The day was full of events in 159 Battalion BSF Campus. It was like a festival celebration in the Battalion. All troops, Subordinate Officers and Officers of 159 Bn BSF could be seen with flying colors as this year the Battalion was declared as the Best Battlion of Border Security Force and won the prestigious General Chaudhuri Trophy.
