AGARTALA, Feb 16 (TIWN): A 3 Day long Border fair has begun at Kurti.

This programme is held every year with the initiative of ICA Dept.

The local businessmen make huge profit from this fair.

But due to lack of proper advertisement, this traditional fair has not received statewide recognition.

However, around 50 shops were set over there and atleat 10000 people already made visit on the first day.

Kurti is a village in Kadamtala tehsil, in North Tripura district. It is one of twenty villages in Kadamtala Block, near the villages Piarachhara and Sarala.
