AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): Alleging CPI-M’s physical attack on 2 women BJP members at Agartala, BJP OBC Morcha, Ward-27 placed deputation in East Women Police Station.

As a part of the protest the members raised Anti-CPI-M slogans.

According to the protesters, on January 28 Mampi Shil and her mother-in-law Mani Shil was attacked by CPI-M local goons near their residence.

Even though an FIR was lodged after the incident, but no initiative was taken by police.

Thus, the BJP OBC Morcha placed deputation in East Women PS, complaining that under CM Manik Sarkar’s regime the OBCs are intentionally getting attacked, but police is maintaining a silence against all these.
