AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): ‘Khelo India’ tournament commenced under the Khelo India campaign at Umakanta ground of the city.

Various competitions of nine different games would be organised during the event.

Various competitions of boxing, athletics and judo were played during the first day of the tournament. Players of 10 divisions are taking part in the tournament.

Khelo India is a seven-member committee for the development of sports in the country, an initiative of Modi government.
