AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): Although the state was put in high alert regarding terror attack on the occasion of Republic Day celebration, no untoward incident was reported from any part of the state and the celebration was concluded successfully.

The central government had also alerted the northeastern states over possible terror attacks ahead of the Republic Day but the celebration is Tripura was conducted under strict vigil to avoid any untoward incident.

But observing the attack incidents at Manipur and Assam Tripura border have also imposed with high alerts.
