UDAIPUR, Jan 13 (TIWN): On the 4th day of the JE vaccination campaign, Gomati District administered 8074 children from schools. Vaccination was done from 44 schools throughout the district. A total of 32788 vaccinations were given during the last four days.

Health and Family Dept. through a press meet on Jan 7 decided to undertake   JE vaccination drive from Jan 9 till Jan 22 across Khowai, Sepahijala and West Tripura initially.

There have been cases related to JE across all districts of Tripura.

Experts opine there is no cure for JE, only vaccination can prevent it.
