AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): Tripura NSS Cell observed Youth Day on the occasion of Swami Vivekanda’s birth anniversary.

In this regard a massive rally was organized at Agaratala and also a programme was held at Rabindra Bhawan, where sports minister Sahid Chowdhury was present.

Students uniformed in various dresses and thus hoisted a colourful rally on the heart of Agartala City.

PM Modi in his official message said, "We offer salutations to the great Swami Vivekananda and remember his powerful thoughts and ideals that continue shaping the minds of generations”.

Swami Vivekananda Bengali, Shāmi Bibekānondo; 12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902, born Narendranath Datta, was an Indian Hindu monk, a chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian mystic Ramakrishna.
