AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): On the occasion of Police-week, Tripura police had organized a bi-cycle rally at Agartala.

The rally kicked off at 7 AM on Thursday morning from Swami Vibekananda Stadium (Astabol). A huge number of participants were observed in that rally.

The police week celebration had  begun from the 1^st day of 2017. The Chief Minister Manik Sarkar himself was present in the main state-programme, held at AD Nagar ground on Jan 3^rd.

On that day West SP Abhijit Saptarshi was given as the ‘best police man award’.

Apart from Agartala across the whole state the police week is being celebrated. From cycle rally to blood donation camp all are doing by the Tripura police.
