AGARTALA, Dec 31 (TIWN): CPI-M is least bothered about any other opposition party than BJP, which is day by day decreasing CPI-M’s vote banks across state’s constituencies.

After 2 day long CPI-M State Committee meeting was ended CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar held a press meet on Friday at Melarmath party office to discuss about the discussed-matters in that state level meeting.

Addressing the media Bijan Dhar said, “CPI-M naturally was shocked in Bi-election results. BJP although could not win but it has drastically increased the vote banks in these votes”.

As the reason behind increasing vote banks of CPI-M, Dhar said, “Obviously there were weakness in CPI-M party organizational strength but apart from that via money and other ways BJP is trying to increase the vote banks. BJP’s vote banks may increase more as apart from BJP other organizations are assisting that party in progress”.

“The RSS, Bajrang Dal, Banabasi-Kalyan-Samiti are nothing but wings of BJP, which are spreading bad names of CPI-M and with any issue trying to attack on the ruling party”, Dhar said.

“Moreover as the party is in power at Centre its using that power heavily here. Tripura’s farmers are facing heavy losses due to cash-crisis. Instead of selling in the minimum rate of Rs. 1500/-, the farmers are now bound to sell them at 1100, 1200 rupees per quintal. On the other and rubber price has also been down, as the Central Govt is buying rubbers from other countries”, Dhar added.

However, Dhar agreed the fact that the power of BJP may increase more in coming days due to RSS’s continuous assistance and with new adding of regional parties like IPFT.

“The way BJP is moving it will break down the peace of the state fully..”, said Dhar.

About Trinamool Dhar said that the way Trinamool began journey it was almost assumed that they have won the election, but now they are confused among themselves about what to do, where to go and their vote-banks have also downed heavily.
