AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Anti-Nationalist CPI-M finally changed it regular track of denying monetary benefits to martyrs as 2018 election is close-by. Tripura Govt. has declared to give atleastRs. 5 lakhs to each of the martyrs families and a job to their one qualified family member. Under Manik Sarkar’s era, the Martyrs were disrespected in the Assembly’s first day when instead of remembering State’s Martyr ShambhuSatmura&Chittarnajn Debbarma,Tripura Assembly dedicated 2 minutes of silence to a foreigner 1920’s Communist Revolutionary Fidel Castro. Apart from Fidel Castro; JaylalithaJayaram and Kanpur train accident victims were also remembered and in total 6 minutes were dedicated for them, but nobody bothered to remember the 2 brave soldiers of India.

As soon as the issue raised, the BJP here held massive protest also conducted a ‘Jangi-Michil’ calling Manik Sarkar as ‘Anti-Nationalist’ for that activity.

BJP also claimed earlier that Manik Sarkar expressed his ‘doubt’ about the soldiers entitle as ‘Martyr’. Apart from that whereas CM attended other similar other funeral process, but he didn’t attend any of the two soldier’s funeral process.

Most importantly, one of his cabinet Minister Naresh Jamatia during his visit at Martyr ChittaranjanDebbarma’s home during his funeral process, he standing before the coffin of the Martyr gave Red-Salute to him. Criticism also highly raised for next 48 hrs of this Minister’s senseless activity.

After all these incidents the ruling party has not taken any risk and remembered Martyr ShambhuSatmura& Martyr Chittaranjan Debbarma before the second day of Assembly began and now the Govt has announced huge compensation to the families.

Tripura Forest Minister Naresh Jamatia’s red salute had hit the state, which once again was criticized by the BJP here and said that such a minister who doesn’t know the basic manners should immediately resign from his post. Giving red saluteCPI-M has highly insulted the Martyr Chittaranjan Debbarma at Khowai, which is unacceptable. BJP also raised issue that why the Chief Minister doesn’t participate in the funeral procession of the martyr, whereas he was attending other programmes here. However, to save the face the Chief Minister later meets the martyr families, but why the govt never help financially to the victim families.

“Mamata Banerjee ruled West Bengal Govt gives Rs. 2 lakhs to the family, Akhilesh Yadav’s Uttar Pradesh Rs. 25 lakhs, Nitish Kumar’s Bihar Rs. 11.12 lakhs, but although in last 1 week 2 Tripura sons died, but nothing has been given to their families…”,. Question was raised at BJP Party Office.

After that one after one Womanizing cases of CPI-M leaders, murder of BJP leader, many corruptions were protested by both TMC and BJP, which led the state Govt to announce financial compensation to the family members along with New Year gift to the state govt employees with 5 % DA.
