KAILASHAHAR, Dec 15 (TIWN): Due to the negligence of Tripura PWD, many developmental works in Tripura are in pause-mode, TIWN reported.
A bridge construction work has left unfinished at Pecahrthal under Dhanichara Panchayat area. Reportedly the work of bridge construction had kicked off in 2014, Nov 29th. The deadline was marked as the month of May, 2016, but like every projects under Tripura PWD the bridge also remained incomplete. Reportedly, 20 % of the work is left untouched there, resulting the local people’s unending miseries.
Experts said that to complete the work within the deadline is important as it scientifically related to the validness of the work.
Similarly another bridge project began at Machmara to Sermoon Tilla worthing rupees around 1 crores. The overall work is going under PWD, although none of the officials of PWD regularly visit the spot.As per source a local contactor Debasish Roy is doing the whole work depending on the daily workers; but reportedly heavily cheap materials are using in this construction.
The work’s deadline also crossed a long back, but on Wednesday also only 12 workers worked on it. Due to the negligence of the PWD, the local people’s agonies have no end there, TIWN reported.
