AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): IPFT Youth Forum who had taken a lion’s share of the Twipra Land Movement now has been fully collapsed from imaginary land and the youths withdrew them from unnecessary clashes, which was unexpected for Tripura people. However, it was CPI-M politburo Bijan Dhar who is the state general secretary of the party here told TIWN on November 30 that IPFT Youths may join BJP. During the 48 hours long Hunger Strike held by IPFT from November 28 to November 30 Bijan Dhar mentioned, “The IPFT party itself is now contradictory as the party already have lost its unity and it has been divided into two groups". Proving the CPI-M State leadership as correct, IPFT Youths have massively joined in BJP on Sunday at BJP Agartala Krishnanagar Office.

The young forum of IPFT are holding protest at ADC headquarter, but they are not with the main stream and different from mainstream IPFT’s views. Most probably they have aligned with BJP”, said Dhar”.

Talking to Dhar on Monday he told TIWN, “Doesn’t matter who is joining where… BJPs are bourgeois and can not bring peace in the country in coming. Let IPFT, Amra Bangali join in BJP but the chances of unity is very less”.

Boosting own party Dhar said, “Only CPI-M can bring unity and communal harmony. In Tripura there is also no alternative of CPI-M to maintain the balance of communities. So doesn’t matter who is joining where but as the overall scenario in the country is bad which will affect Tripura also”.

“BJP will only spoil the unity as BJP is at Delhi”, Dhar added.

It’s worthy to mention here that the youths of IPFT had massively joined in BJP on Sunday led by the President of Youth IPFT Pabindra Jamatia, Working President David Murasing, Neuton Koloi had joined in BJP with an announcement declared by BJP State President Biplab Deb welcomed the youths in the party and said to move together towards development. 

This incident had shocked the political parties as it may hamper the tribal vote banks a lot. Till day the tribal vote banks has effected Tripura Congress and CPI-M’s vote banks, but the way various party members are proceeding towards  BJP it has now worried the ruling party also.
